Who I am
I’m Dominique Denie, and this website belongs to my company XYMORA BV, Bosstraat 32/2, 2040 Berendrecht, Belgium, enterprise number BE 1042.606.280. XYMORA BV is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. You can always email questions about your data to dominique@xymora.be.
What data I process
- Contact form and email: your name, your email address and whatever you write in your message.
- Technical data: like every website, my hosting provider keeps server logs that include your IP address, your browser and the pages you request.
Why I process it
- To answer your question and, if you want, to prepare a quote or a collaboration. I do this at your request, with a view to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- I use server logs only to keep the website secure and working. That is my legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
I don’t use your data for newsletters or advertising, and I never sell it.
How long I keep it
I keep messages as long as needed to handle your question, and at most two years after our last contact. If a collaboration follows, I keep what is needed for quotes and invoices as long as the law requires (seven years for accounting). Server logs are deleted automatically by my hosting provider after a short time.
Who I share it with
Only with the service providers I need to run this website and my email (hosting and email). They process your data only on my behalf. I pass on nothing else, unless the law requires me to.
Cookies and local storage
This website uses no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies.
- On the contact page, the server sets a session cookie for the protection against spam. It disappears when you close your browser.
- Your choice of light or dark theme is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to me.
Both are strictly necessary for what you do on the website yourself, so I don’t ask for consent.
Links to other websites
I link to my pages on Facebook and LinkedIn. If you follow those links, the privacy policies of those platforms apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object, and to have your data transferred. Email dominique@xymora.be to do so; I reply within one month.
If you’re not satisfied with how I handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
Changes
If I change this statement, you’ll see it in the date at the top of this page.
